Kindergarten - Term 1 Week 13

This week in inquiry we had fun discussing and acting out different job roles. The students chose to create five scenes in the classroom: the restaurant, the classroom, the bank, the vets, and the shop. Each group played in each scene for ten minutes then rotated.

On Thursday, we made our own community workers. We will finish them next week!

We also practiced the Continents song for our Winter performance and continued trying to fit the lyrics together. Oval table managed to do it!

In Language, we studied -e- words

In Math, we continued counting and started addition within 10. We played some dice games where the students needed to add the total of two dice and then perform an action that amount of times (jump 7 times!). We also used addition to play Addition Snakes and Ladders both as a class on the interactive board and in groups.
