We started our new unit- Where We Are in Place and Time. We broke down our central idea and expressed our wonderings. We then talked about different ways we can found out more about migration.
In math, we started our graphing unit by doing a class birthday graph. We also practiced asking questions about the information given on our graph.
Our word study groups are moving along great. Students are becoming more confident of the routines and cooperating more with group members.
We enjoyed buddy reading with the preschool class during Literacy Week that we decided to continue to work together. I hope that the preschool students ejnoy this time together as much as we do!
