We have continued to draw our thoughts about different feelings
and have been sharing with our classmates this week.
Students are learning about the different feelings and emotions we can have
and how to express their feelings appropriately.
We also played the 'Feelings Game'
The students had to roll the dice with 6 different feelings on each side.
Once they rolled the dice, they had to make the face in front
of their classmates for them to guess what feeling it is.
We read a book called 'The Color Monster' this week,
as we discussed about how we feel by looking at different colors last week,
this book was linking to how the color monster changed his color depending on
what his feeling was like.
This book encourages young ones to open up and discuss how they feel,
even when their thoughts are confusing.
We also started decorating our props for the Winter Performance
Friday's Buddy Reading
Students were so engaged today,
Pre-K and Grade 5 worked collaboratively together
to choose different story books.
Also excellent questioning and answering while reading the books!
