Our Field Trip to TenQ
Space Museum
Yesterday, we
went on a field trip to the TenQ space museum. We traveled by bus and it took almost 1 hour to get to TenQ. We ate lunch before
going up to the space museum. We walked through a dark tunnel with a lot of
stars and entered another room to watch a show. In the show, we saw the black hole,
Earth, Jupiter, Neptune, astronaut and books. After the show, we played with
some sphere robots. We controlled the sphere robots to go into a hole in the rocket.
The first sphere to enter the hole wins. We also played with puzzles and
created the Earth, Moon, Neptune, Uranus, Sun, the Milky Way and our own gold and silver
planet. There were also a lot of toys in the museum and we even got to sit next
to an alien. Before heading back on the bus, we even got to jump on the moon
and left our footprints on the moon.
"Look at the Earth floating and spinning."
"The Earth is a circle and that planet on top looks like a semi-circle!"
The students got a chance to touch a piece of meteorite from Mars.
Students exploring the different sizes of the planets in our solar system.
"This is the size of Saturn!"
Students built a moon with magnetic puzzle pieces.
Left: Milky Way Right: Neptune, Uranus and stars
We had a great time at the TenQ Space Museum!
