What a Busy Week!
First of all, we had Japanese Culture Day on Tuesday
so our students got the chance to decorate their own Spinner which they really enjoyed!
We also played Shuriken Game,
divided into two groups.
It was a very, very tight score!
In the afternoon, we had Ninja visit our SIS and
everyone was engaged in activities as well as seeing an awesome performance!
We had board game time in groups again this week.
This encouraged them to communicate to each other,
discuss about the rules and problem solve.
Our students have built great friendships with each other,
learning together with joy.
Continuing with our Unit of Inquiry,
we had lots of tasting experiments this week.
Trying the lemon...
They also tried decaf coffee...
We also tried Plain cracker and chocolate...
On Friday, we had Grade 5 students come to our class to
do 'Cracker Experiment' together.
They were to buddy up and go through all 5 different crackers and identify
what it looks like,
what it smells like,
what it tastes like,
what it feels like, and
what it sounds like when you break it.
