Grade 2 students worked cooperatively with grade 1 students to create a marble maze. They had to think of different designs, materials, and forces that will allow a marble to go from start to finish in at least 5 seconds.
Some grade 2 students have been making a book to teach other about the Australian bush fires.
Our final count was in and three students presented it to the class and the school! They are extremely proud and also thankful to those who contributed!
In Language, we worked on cause and effect relationships. They enjoyed finding their matching cause or effect and presenting it to the class.
Tuesday was Japanese Culture Day at SIS. Students enjoyed the ninja show and the shuriken game.
In math, we started looking for and exploring 3D shapes.
