Week 7 Term 1 PE (Upper)

We started a hockey unit in PE and talked about the difference between field hockey and ice hockey. We agreed to follow the rules such as no high sticking, no fighting, no hooking, no hard checking, and no icing (hitting the ball all the way from one side to another). Many of the children  formed a circle and hit their sticks on the floor. This is how hockey players clap. 

The children did some skill activities such as weaving through cones, playing monkey in the middle, and a reaction time activity where by 2 students dueled and tried to grab a falling stick.
