Kindergarten - Term 1 Week 8

It has been a busy week in Kindergarten! We have been reviewing what we have learnt in Inquiry, Math and Language over the last seven weeks, and filming our video for the Celebration of Learning presentation on Thursday.

It has also been Literacy Week, so we read and answered questions on lots of books in order to reach our reading challenge target of 15 books! We were also lucky enough to have two parent readers to come into the class and read to us!

Here is a certificate for our reading challenge:

Here are some photos of the students during Center Time:

On Thursday afternoon, the students did some spooky dot-to-dot and colour-by-number worksheets!

On Thursday afternoon, Kindergarten also collaborated with Grade 4 for a session of 'Buddy Reading'. The students partnered up and the Grade 4 students read to the Kindergarten students and asked them questions about the book. It worked so well; the students were very comfortable, talkative, and Grade 4 acted as great role models!
