Grade 3 Teaching each other about Human Body Systems

Over the last six weeks students in grade three have been busy preparing presentations and becoming "experts" in one of the four human body systems.  Each group designed an interactive poster, researched facts and created a presentation.  As groups, they researched the digestive system, circulatory system, respiratory system and the nervous system.  Students realized at the end of today that each system has to work as part of a team in order for the body to function properly and that each of the four systems rely on each other to help the human body stay healthy.  Besides learning to research during our project, they learned about presentation skills, research skills, and communication skills.  Next week the students in grade three will present their projects to grade two and teach them the basics of the human body!
