Following our 'Cavemen' project with our How We Express Ourselves unit,
we have been reading variety of books and watched video clips that linked to
caves, cavemen, mammoth, painting, etc.
Our students really enjoyed relating the books...
"We're going on a bear hunt"
"You can do anything daddy"
this week with our cave in the classroom.
We also did lots of art activities,
such as painting the 'Funny Mammoth' (the students call him)
and oil pastel drawing + painting with color dye on top, decorating our own caveman...
They have been exploring and experimenting different ways of making art.
Next week we will be looking into different arts around the world!!!
