Grade 3 Looking at a World Map

This week we began our unit on Where We Are in Place and Time.  In this unit we will be studying Geography.  One of our first activities was to use an Atlas and a blank world map to decide what is some of the important things we need to be able to see on a map.  The students worked in groups to determine what was important and necessary to their group.  We then shared our ideas with the class using our interactive board.
