Grades 4/5 - FLL Robotics Team, Space Heroes

After a slow start, our robotics team, Space Heroes, has been starting its engines!  The base design and frame of the robot has been finalized, missions are starting to be completed, and the project has lots of research done on the problem and a solution has been determined.  Through trial and error and success and failure, the robot game team continues to work towards streamlining the missions they have completed and developing strategies and tools for new ones.  The project team continues to put together all the research and ideas about the problem of having tastier food for astronauts in space.  They determined that by providing suppliment smells to the dehydrated food, it would give the astronauts a happier feeling of smelling "homecooked" food and have the food be tastier as well!  The team is also working on putting a poster together about how we incorporate all the core values of FLL into our team and selves.  They are:

Discovery: We explore new skills and ideas.
Innovation: We use creativity and persistence to solve problems.
Impact: We apply what we learn to improve our world.
Inclusion: We respect each other and embrace our differences.
Teamwork: We are stronger when we work together.
Fun: We enjoy and celebrate what we do!

We have three more weeks to go before the tournament.  Good luck Space Heroes!
