In Language, we have been exploring characters and settings in stories. We will continue to explore other story elements to help us in our summative assessment for our inquiry unit. We also have been looking at the information we collected from our parent interviews and other tasks to sort out and go further in our lines of inquiry.
We started practicing our song for our next celebration of learning. It's a bit challenging because the song is fast paced but the students are willing to work hard.
We finished off the week with a birthday recognition. Our school is focusing on the learner profile attribute 'Caring' and classmates recognized that the birthday boy showed this attribute by bringing gifts to his classmates. The classmates were very happy and appreciated the gifts and caring attitude!
