In math, grade 2 has been working on comparing numbers. The students always look forward to the math game we play to review the concept we have been working on. We also started our new unit of inquiry. We watched a movie clip to tune in and then discussed what we saw. On the following day, we did an activity to introduce the new central idea. The students worked together to look up key words and put them together in a sentence to reveal the central idea. They wrote down their wonderings and shared them with the class.
Thursday was our much needed day at the park!
