Week 4 Art

Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten did stained glass windows with markers.

Some of our best art ideas come from our surroundings and the things around us. 

We worked on bamboo shoots. The children made them with green paint, spoon handles, the edges of Popsicle sticks and brushes.

1st through 3rd changed our pictures to Pop Art images and made buttons.

Some students opted for a distorted image. 

We finally decided that peace buttons would be better. 

Grades 4 through 6 made anti-gravity suspension structures called Tensegrity. It stands up by pushing and pulling forces.
