Grade 1 Summer School Week 2

In grade 1 summer school we have been practicing writing opinion texts during language and persuading our fellow classmates with our writing. In math class we got to play a variety of new games and then we created our own math games using our number skills and creativity.

In inquiry we learned about simple machines and how we use these in our daily lives, we even had a chance to make our own ramps and test them in a marble race, and take part in a lever catapult competition where we could put our science inquiry skills into practice.
