Our Inquiry this week has been based around the theme of How The World Works. We have been investigating the effects of two forces - Gravity and Friction - in the classroom by conducting practical experiments and research. The students had to demonstrate their understanding of these two forces by completing a marble run challenge that could last for 60 seconds exactly.
In our Language we have been reading lots of information books about forces and summarizing our ideas, and learning to write and plan scientific investigations. In mathematics, we have been reviewing our knowledge and understanding of measurements - with a focus on measuring length and time in order to help with our Inquiry challenge.
