Shared writing - Letter to a character:
Dear David,
We have just read the David Gets in Trouble book and we think David should learn to be more mindful of his actions. He should stop being so rude and be careful when he plays baseball. Don’t hurt animals by pulling their tails. He should put his homework somewhere his dog can’t reach and eat it. He needs to share his toys. When he sees someone else’s birthday cake, don’t eat it before the birthday person and don’t lie. Also, don’t forget to put your pants on!
We also have some questions for you.
1. Why did you write this book?
2. How old is David?
3. Why does David always get in trouble?
