Grade 3 Japanese Culture Day

On Friday, all the students had the opportunity to participate in Japanese Culture Day, organized by our Japanese teacher, Naomi sensei.  Students learned the Shinagawa Ondo, made kaleidoscopes, played traditional Japanese games, and watched Japanese folktales.  To prepare for the day, the students spent time decorating their Happi coats during Japanese class that week.  Grade 3 also had the opportunity to make the decorations for the day.  A big thank you to Naomi sensei for all of her hard work making this day a success!
