Grade 2 Community Influences

This week, we finished up talking about similarities and differences within communities and started exploring how a person's community influences their thoughts and actions. We read a book about a girl from China and looked at how her day to day actions and thoughts were a reflection of the community that she belongs to. We then looked at what countries we are from. Do we do the same things? Do we do things differently? Why do we do the things we do?

In math, we finished our measurement unit and reviewed what we have learned. We also had a chance to go to the park this week.
