This was an exciting and eventful week with Literacy Week and Celebration of Learning! On the first day of Literacy Week, we had D.E.A.R. time - Drop Everything and Read. We each found our comfortable spots to dive into a book.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, we had guest readers come into our classrooms to read books in another language.
On Thursday, we had our Celebration of Learning - we also dressed as our favorite character from a book. We proudly presented our learning from this Unit of Inquiry - Who We Are: Healthy Me.
Today we wrapped up Literacy Week with Buddy Reading. Our Grade 5/6 friends are helping us to become better readers!
We had a lot of fun this week! See you all after our mid-term break!
