Grade 2 Celebration of Learning

This week was our Celebration of Learning as well as Literacy Week. We had a reading challenge for 2 weeks leading up to Literacy Week. Our class goal was to read 2000 pages. The class surpassed their goal by reading 4229 pages! During Literacy week, we had a guest reader visit our classroom to read to us in Tagalog, had a character parade, a book fair, buddy read with 4th graders, and shared our learning with parents and friends. It was a busy week! We are all ready for our mid-term break and we will return refreshed and ready to learn!
