Virtual Anthology G5 and 6

We are making online poetry books. If you put your cursor arrow on the book corner and click then the page will turn. We made our books on Flipsnack.

Here is our audio version with voice-overs narrated by Sana and Sumire. They read their poetry. Click the arrow to play the video.

Our children have been using compasses to make circles.

We found out that if you fill 2 proportionally sized cones up with water then they will fill up a sphere. We also discovered that 3 diameters plus .14 will cover the circumference of a circle. 3.14 is also known as PI in Mathematics.

Today in ICT class, we entered into a virtual reality world by stepping in a painting by Vincent Van Gogh entitled "Starry Night." The palettes of blue and grey became alive!

There were scary moments in this 3-D world!

We could eat things and not get full.

Our perceptions were distorted!

We stumbled into fantasy places that we would never really go.

We reached out and grabbed objects in thin air that seemed like something but they were really nothing!

Things came toward us that we weren't expecting! Then, we took off the VR goggles and realized that we were in the library with our friends. Fun!
