We finished up our Unit of Inquiry, Sharing the Planet: Waste Warriors this week. Each student chose an action plan to help the environment, and created a poster. Along with our poster, we had a persuasive writing piece to explain the reasons why we should help the environment. We peer edited our writing, checking for capital letters and periods and reading the sentences aloud to see if they make sense. When we were finished, we did a peer assessment and practiced reading our writing smoothly in order to prepare for our presentation in front of the class. We all did a wonderful job reading confidently and clearly for our audience to hear!
