Sharing the Planet G5 and 6 Term 3

We made a paper circuit without any wires. We used a circuit marker, foil, an LED light and a micro lithium battery.

The children are making environmental messages that light up.

The message on this card is to stop Global Warming!

We won't have a society if we destroy our environment.

There are many pretty things in nature, so keep them safe.

Do not harm the air. Think about this biome.

Lights off and save the environment.

Save nature. Create a better world.

G5 and 6 have begun a new inquiry unit entitled "Sharing the Planet."

Our classes talked about biodiversity. The toothpick "species" is not very diverse. We call nonliving objects "abiotic."

We also discussed types of ecosystems.

We slimmed the room in our Mad Scientist Afternoon School Program.

                                    This is glow-in-the-dark slime!

We observed the properties of the slime!

Please remember that there is a Spring Picnic tomorrow in Yoyogi Park.
