Grade One Week 22: How the world Works

For our inquiry into How the World Works, the Grade One students began two ongoing projects this week. During our morning and afternoon meetings, we began to gather data for a weather report. Each morning and afternoon we will use a thermometer to check the temperature and record it in our report. We are very curious to see how the weather will change from now til the end of the school year and how the changes in weather effects the world around us. For our second ongoing project, we will take a picture of the tree at the entrance of the school each week to document how it changes. Today, the students predicted how the tree over the next few months.
