Grade 2: How the World Works

We have been finishing our last unit, and now are moving into How the World Works. The class analyzed some photos of buildings around the world and made predictions about where they could be located. They also brainstormed about what they already know about buildings, materials, and communities.

In math, we are working on part-part-whole relationships. The class used blocks to visually represent addition equations.

The whole school was able to enjoy Japanese Culture Day today as well! Students got to participate in a tea ceremony, enjoy a traditional Japanese story and songs, and many other fun activities.
