Grade 1 Week 20: How We Express Ourselves

This week Grade One finished their inquiry into How We Express Ourselves. For our summative task the class worked together to create 9 signs and symbols for people,places, and things in the school. Then they used the 9 signs and symbols to play a game called "Follow the Signs" at Friday's Celebration of Learning. We hope you all enjoyed playing the game with us. For the past two weeks grade one has been working on their entry for the school art exhibit. Working from a design by Ai, all the student contributed mosaic "titles" to be used to create an eye.
