This was our first week back at school. The children had to shake off the holiday feeling and get back into their studies. Over the week, the students have refocused and are now producing some really good work.
Our theme for this term is Who we are and we are investigating this question by looking at communities, beliefs and values. We have done graphs to show our likes and dislikes and we are currently working on a survey of the entire school. The answers will be put into graphs, using Microsoft Word.
As always there has also been a focus on literacy and numeracy skills. This week we have been working on addition, subtraction and number bonds, while in literacy we have reviewed sentence writing, punctuation and spelling of key words. We have also started on music.
It`s been a good week and I`m looking forward to working with the children next week.
