Our homework this weekend deals with using articles "a, an and the." We recently learned how to take notes on Grammar.
We connected the bones with a stapler and next week we will label them.
We put together the skeleton as an introduction to our Health and Who We Are unit.
During PE, we played a variety of the game of "Capture the Flag" with Grades 4, 5 and 6 .
The children brainstormed and made classroom rules to keep us safe and healthy.
Our class has been making connections between books and our PYP attitudes. We browsed the library stacks and surfed the web to find books about appreciation, commitment, confidence, independence, tolerance, empathy, integrity, curiosity, enthusiasm, and respect. Since our library has reorganized and leveled the books in the library according to our Guided Reading books, it was difficult to find the books that we wanted but we didn't give up.
"The Empty Pot" is a book based on the attitude "principled." This book gives us a sound grasp of the moral reasoning, integrity, honesty and a sense of fairness and justice.
