Grade 2 Term 1 Week 4 Who we are

This week was quite a short week, but we still managed to get a lot done. The children have been working hard on their communities projects. They successfully completed their PowerPoint presentations. For many of the children this was their first experience using PowerPoint, so we practiced inserting photos and text. The children then gave their presentations to the class.

The children then began working on their models of the types of houses where people from their chosen communities live. We will be ready to finish the models by Monday. They are coming along really well.

Finally, we continued to work on literacy and numeracy skills, In maths we have been working on addition of two and three digit numbers and in literacy we have worked on grammar and story telling.
