It has been a great first week in Kindergarten and the children have enjoyed getting to know each other and their classroom. The children have already come out of their shells and have become more comfortable in the classroom since Monday!
Here are some activities that the children did this week:
-Trace the line with markers
-Use playdough to fill the shapes
-Stencils
-Decorating the recycling bins
-Birthday wall
They seemed to particularly enjoy shaping the playdough to fill shapes and to also makes the letters of the alphabet. They also enjoyed learning the difference between paper and plastic and which bins to put their trash into.
