Grade 4 - Going Deeper Into an Old Inquiry Unit

For Golden Week, Grade 4's homework was to revisit one of our old inquiry units that they enjoyed and either rethink about it, learn about something in it more deeply, or redo a project that they felt like they could have done better. Everyone had the chance this week to share their work with the rest of the class.

Some students wrote new stories and made books about success, challenge and failure. There were great themes about being a risk-taker, having confidence, learning from mistakes and having a growth mindset.

One student learned more about chemical energy and did experiments that he shared with the class!

These students researched more about the ways that humans use and obtain electrical energy through wind turbines and about Albert Einstein's work with nuclear energy.

It's great to see the students interest and curiosity with different subjects while taking action to reflect on their learning and take it deeper!
