Grade 1 Week 7 Who We Are

In language class, we have a weekly list of spelling words we try to learn. On Thursday, the class was put into groups to try and spell as many words as they could. However, they quickly discovered that none of the groups had enough letters to spell all the words! By working together as a class team, they were able to co-operate and spell the whole list. Co-operating helps us to work as a team!

In math this week, we were practicing making 30. Grade 1 discovered there are many ways to make 30, using toys, number tiles, coloring, cubes, and many other ways!
