Grade 1 Week 6 Who We Are

Grade 1 talked about co-operation and what it looks like at school and at home. Then we shared what we thought co-operation means to us. Co-operation means working together in a team and helping each other!

In math, we learned about the months in a year. The students could decide how to order them in sequence. Most chose to order the months in a circle, to show that the months start again at the beginning of a new year. We also found out who has the longest name in the class and who has the shortest name.

The class began making models of the human digestive system. The student were traced onto cardboard and then had to draw and label the mouth, esophagus, stomach, and intestines.
