Grade 5/6: Week 29, Sharing the Planet

This week we went on two field trips. We went to Japan Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. This trip was to discuss the issue of animal welfare in Japan.

We also went on a visit to Japan Red Cross. Japan Red Cross showed us how they prepare for a disaster, and what they do to help the community when disaster strikes.

In class, Grade 6 have been working hard on putting their ideas into practice. Students have all decided on the action they will take, and are putting their presentations together for next Friday.

Next week we will have our Grade 6 PYP Exhibition and International Children's Day!
Grade 6 parents are invited to our presentation on Friday at 2:20pm. The Exhibition will also be on display during International Children's Day.
