Grade 3 Where We Are in Place and Time 12/09/16

Today we had a Kodomo Matsuri with our exchange school. In English, Kodomo Matsuri means Children's Festival.
Our game for the event was Moonlight Bowling (otherwise known as Cosmic Bowling.) We had lots of responsibility with jobs of 2 setters, a policeman, stamper and a ball return person. We rotated working between 3 shifts from 9:00 to 11:10. First Grade cooperated with us by letting us use their room. Grade 3 put flashing lights and illuminated sticks inside of bowling pins. We ran lights down our alley and ball return.

We had quite a crowd for our event!
We advertised our game by going around both schools and acting as a talking billboard.

Leyla still found time to have fun by doing an egg on the spoon obstacle course.

We shot rubber bands inside of boxes with targets too.

We played putt putt golf in Grade 2 and challenged ourselves getting balls through narrow spaces. All and all, we had a great time.
