Grade 4: Week 8: Who We Are: Growth vs. Fixed Mindset Case Study Interviews

Today, students did interviews for our case study on growth vs. fixed mindsets. The question they are trying to answer through this study is "Do people react to challenge differently with a growth or a fixed mindset?" First they asked the interviewee 10 questions that would help determine their mindset.  Then, they were given a series of challenges to try and solve while our recorder wrote down observations of what they said and did in reaction to the challenge.  Afterward, the grade 4 students would discuss their analysis and make a conclusion based on their observations.  On Friday at the Celebration of Learning, Grade 4 parents can come and see our case study report, as well as participate in the case study with your child, so please come!
