Grade 2 worked really hard on their animal habitats for International Children's Day. They created a scavenger hunt and a game for each habitat. Their habitats were Ocean, Rain Forest, Savannah, and Mountain regions. Each group learned exciting facts about the animals in their habitat and how they survive in these regions. They were so proud and excited to show off their habitats to their friends and family that day. Here are some pictures of them working in their habitats!

Sharing the Planet
Grade 2 has been busy preparing for Children's Day creating animal habitats for various parts of the world. Each group had to create animal habitats, animal facts, a game, and a scavenger hunt for the day. They learned about various animals, how they live and eat, and how their habitat was built.

Environments
We have been exploring our environment, outside of our classroom, and have been comparing it to a local environment in Brazil. We became so interested with the rain forest in Brazil, we decided to make our own rain forest in our classroom. We have built a tunnel in our classroom, to give the feeling of crawling through a rain forest.
