As a community project, we made some alphabet letters out of wood. We clamped them on the library shelves for the categorization of books.
The students have been learning about batik and positive and negative values in art.
The children drew a picture with a pencil on a piece of cloth. Then, we used hot glue instead of wax to outline the picture. After that, we painted the picture and peeled the glue.
This is a finished product of a lion and some scared people.
This week in mathematics we learned about multiplying fractions by playing Snow Sprint.
We also studied exponents by playing Otter Pal.
Our final game was Dirt Bikes to get a grasp on proportions.
Click our Movie that was produced by Nour, directed by Jake and voice acted by their classmates. This is Chapter 1 and 2 of the book and movie of the Watsons go to Birmingham. The director said that the hardest part of making the video was dealing with all the people.
The pupils did some computer coding with the Tokyo Coding Club.
We did the 12 Bar Blues in Music class to learned how to incorporate intervals. The children are writing and composing their own songs based on Music theory and the difference between pitches and two sounds.
