10/06/2016 Grade 3 Who We Are Term 1

Tune into FM G3 and listen to the music at your own risk! You might hear a few squeaks and off notes! We have almost mastered "Edelweiss" on our recorders.

We are learning to organize ourselves in Music class. Our class formed an almost perfect semicircle. The amazed and perplexed teacher found the students in this position when he entered the music. room.

The children have been confidently making posters on prefixes and suffixes.

Inquiry based learning.

During our inquiry time, we had four different centers. Literacy, Maths, Technology and Art. It was fun to explore by ourselves. 

Grade 4 - Week 6 - Who We Are - Covenant Players Performances

Today, we had a special visit from a dramatic group called Covenant Players who performed some stories to help us think about how to act with respect and tolerance towards each other and our friends.  They were very entertaining and informative at the same time, and even got some students in our school and Grade 4 to become actors of stage with them!  Thank you Covenant Players!
