Grade 5/6 Week 3 Sharing the Planet

This week students are continuing the inquiry unit and preparing for International Children's Day. They have been researching a peacemaker and looking at how that peacemaker has resolved conflict. We also folded some origami cranes to symbolize peaceful resolutions.

In math, 5th grade started working on multiplying a fraction and a whole number. 6th grade started a chapter on interest, sales tax, and discount.
