Grade One Week 24: How the World Works

Yesterday Grade One went on a field trip to the Tokyo Science Museum. At the museum, we were lucky to meet with real scientist and see how they work. We were able to participate in experiments on electricity, sound, and light.

In the science workshop we learned about surface tension.

After trying out different vehicles we learned how gasoline, electric and hybrid car engines work.

The Scientist taught us about sound and vibrations. We were fascinated when he turned a tea kettle into a stereo speaker.

The cutest and most popular robot at the museum.
